Welcome to the first “mostly peaceful” post-election Sunday open thread, and watch for flying rocks thrown by pro-peace demonstrators. A few starters…

President Obama will go on a farewell world tour soon where he will no doubt again apologize for many things, including the results of the election. Check out this leg humping headline from the Associated Press:

Mother of All Apologies incoming:

It was supposed to be his grand valedictory tour. Now President Barack Obama must use his last major trip abroad to try to calm shocked world leaders about the outcome of the U.S. election, and what comes next when Donald Trump is president.

Trump’s unforeseen victory has triggered pangs of uncertainty at home and grave concerns around the world. Though Obama has urged unity and said the U.S. must root for Trump’s success, his trip to Greece, Germany and Peru forces him to confront global concerns about the future of America’s leadership.

The AP pointed out that Obama spent months telling American voters that Trump wasn’t qualified to be president. Maybe the first thing Obama should explain to other world leaders is why not enough people believe anything he says.

CNN’s joining the mainstream media outlets describing election-protesting tolerance mobs as “mostly peaceful.” Just don’t tell that to the person who got shot in Portland, Oregon or police there who had flaming object hurled at them.

“Mostly peaceful”!

Police hurled flash grenades and used tear gas on protesters on Saturday night as anti-Trump demonstrations continued across the country in the fourth night of unrest since his shock election victory.

Dozens of people were arrested in Portland, Oregon, where crowds threw burning road flares.

Hundreds gathered outside City Hall in Los Angeles to face off against riot police after a daytime march with drew 8,000 people.

Other rallies took place in Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Washington DC, and Phoenix, as the anti-Trump backlash continued to grow.

“Mostly peaceful” part II, from Indianapolis:

Shortly after 8 p.m. a group of protesters gathered at Illinois and Washington Streets and began making threats, chanting, “Kill the police.”

As officers began to move in on the instigators, they were pelted with rocks and bottles. Two police officers were struck. Their injuries were described as minor.

When the crowd refused to move, police used horse patrol officers, and pepper spray to help disperse the crowds.

A total of seven people were taken into custody. Police say three of them were from out of town and four others were local residents.

Why the wealthy leftists who bankroll and encourage this kind of organized anarchy (ironic indeed) are never held accountable is anybody’s guess.

The MSM calls these “anti-Trump” protests but “problem-solving in the Obama era” is more accurate:

Video shows people smashing the windows of cars and businesses during anti-Donald Trump protest in Portland, Oregon.

People who have watched this kind of thing unfolding for the last few years who are still wondering why Trump won… are some of the reasons Trump won.

Lest anybody think that a free and fair election devoid of accusations of fraud would stop lefties from questioning the results, here’s what happens when the outcome doesn’t go their way:

They’d be whining like this even if Hillary won, right? Never mind.

And you can’t have somebody from the GOP elected president without Michael Moore starting to tag along:

The concierge could have gotten rid of Moore fast by just telling him he could see Trump but the elevators are down so he’d have to take the stairs.

John Kerry’s gravely concerned about man-made global warming, so he took his eco-friendly kumquat-powered zero carbon magical flying machine from one of his mansions all the way to Antarctica to teach penguins all about hypocrisy:

Kerry will soon be out at the State Department but his carbon footprint will last for generations.

Have a good Sunday all!
